Cruel and unusual punishment at school

 

 

 

    Spraying some one with bullets just because they took your parking spot, or burning them because they dropped your snow cone.  These are examples of cruel or unusual punishment in public.  They are many times when this happens, it might not be as drastic as the examples but they still happen.  You can't do cruel or unusual things to people because they made your life hard.  I know you might want to do them but you can't.

 

    Slapping a student fifty times because they don't want to do there homework.  Beating them with their back pack so they can learn not to bring food to school.  All of these are wrong , funny, but wrong.  You need to address these issues a different way.  With out getting mad and doing something cruel or unusual.  Take anger management or something else.

 

    Making a kid spend 2 weeks in  a class room because they were chewing gum.  Making a kid write "I will not  talk back to the teacher" 500 times.  Isn't this a cruel or unusual punishment?  These are the ways how schools limit our right to no cruel or unusual punishment.  But this is also a start to kids being more rebellious.  So with this I say that just treat the kids better.
